Momo Challenge: esa es la razón
Cartas en cadena y desafíos aparecen en WhatsApp de vez en cuando. Uno de ellos es el Desafío Momo. Le mostraremos lo que hay detrás.
Momo: de la carta en cadena de WhatsApp al desafío
El Desafío Momo comenzó como una carta en cadena.
- Las cartas en cadena se enviaron inicialmente desde WhatsApp desde la cuenta de Momo. Se le pidió al destinatario que remitiera la carta a otras 13 cuentas. Si eso no sucediera, Momo, una figura espeluznante, estaría en la habitación del destinatario por la noche.
- Un desafío desarrollado a partir de la carta en cadena. Ya no se trata solo de reenviar un mensaje. Se dice que el destinatario realiza diversas tareas, como autolesiones. Al final del desafío está el suicidio, la última tarea.
- Si no se cumplen las tareas, la cuenta de Momo amenaza con terribles consecuencias para el entorno del destinatario.
- Los números de destinatario probablemente se generaron enviando la carta en cadena.
- Si recibe un mensaje de Momo y lo responde o guarda el número, otras cuentas de Momo pueden acceder a su número.
- El principal grupo objetivo para el Desafío Momo son los niños y los jóvenes. Por lo tanto, definitivamente debe hablar con sus hijos sobre el Desafío Momo y explicarles que Momo es falso y que no pasa nada si no siguen las indicaciones.
- Si recibe un mensaje de Momo, es mejor no responderlo. No responda, no reenvíe el mensaje y no guarde el número.
¿Quién es Momo y cuán peligroso es el desafío?
La policía clasifica el desafío como muy peligroso.
- En Francia y Argentina, el desafío probablemente ha cobrado sus primeras víctimas. En los dos países, los jóvenes se habían suicidado después de aparentemente estar en contacto con la cuenta de Momo durante mucho tiempo.
- La primera cuenta de Momo probablemente se originó en Japón. Ahora hay cuentas de Momo en Argentina, Colombia y México que envían los mensajes con un número desconocido.
- Hasta ahora, solo la carta en cadena de Momo ha llegado a Alemania. Pero probablemente sea solo cuestión de tiempo antes de que llegue el desafío.
- Las cuentas de Momo siempre usan la misma imagen: la cara espeluznante y distorsionada de una niña con ojos saltones. Detrás de la imagen hay en realidad una escultura de un artista japonés. En el original, la figura incluso tiene enormes patas de gallo.
- La escultura representa un ubumetori, es una figura de la mitología japonesa. Se podría traducir "Ubumetori" con "pájaro romperse niño".
