Configurar Synology DiskStation: así es como
Configurar una nueva Synology DiskStation no es difícil. Lo mejor que puede hacer es seguir nuestras instrucciones paso a paso:
- Desempaquete la DiskStation e inserte los discos duros. Luego puede conectar el NAS a la alimentación y a su red doméstica.
- Después de iniciar DiskStation, debe asignar una dirección IP estática al NAS. Esto significa que siempre se puede alcanzar en su red con la misma IP.
- Ahora llame a la interfaz web de Synology DiskStation ingresando la dirección IP del NAS en la barra de direcciones del navegador. El asistente de configuración te está esperando aquí.
- Primero se le pedirá que instale la última versión de DiskStation Manager (DSM para abreviar). La instalación se ejecuta automáticamente, solo tienes que estar de acuerdo. La última versión de DSM puede demorar en descargarse e instalarse. Importante: si ya ha instalado datos en los discos duros utilizados, se eliminarán.
- Después de la actualización, se le pedirá que configure una cuenta de administrador. Debe recordar el nombre de usuario y la contraseña seleccionados o guardarlos en un lugar seguro, ya que esta es la única forma de acceder a DiskStation. En "Nombre del servidor" puede especificar cómo desea nombrar su DiskStation. Luego aparece en Explorer bajo este nombre.
- En el paso "Actualizar y mantener DSM", usted decide cómo manejará DiskStation las actualizaciones. Se recomienda tener actualizaciones instaladas automáticamente. De esta manera, cualquier brecha de seguridad se cierra rápidamente y el sistema operativo siempre está actualizado.
- Si desea acceder a su DiskStaion a través de Internet, debe configurar una ID de QuickConnect en el siguiente paso. Con esta ID, puede acceder a su DiskStation desde todas las aplicaciones de Synology. Synology evita así el problema de que la mayoría de las conexiones privadas tienen direcciones IP cambiantes.

Comience con Synology DiskStation
- Si aún no se le ha pedido que configure el volumen, debe realizar este paso ahora. Para hacer esto, abra la descripción general de la aplicación en la esquina superior izquierda y haga clic en "Administrador de almacenamiento". Luego seleccione »Volumen« para obtener una visión general de todos los volúmenes.

- Si diferentes personas trabajan con DiskStation, es recomendable crear varias cuentas de usuario. - Ahora ingrese al menos un nombre de usuario y contraseña; los otros campos, como "dirección de correo electrónico", pueden dejarse en blanco. En la siguiente ventana, debe ingresar una membresía grupal. Por defecto, los nuevos usuarios se asignan al grupo de "usuarios". En el siguiente diálogo puede elegir a qué carpeta puede acceder el usuario respectivo. No tiene que seleccionar nada aquí, ya que todavía no se han creado carpetas separadas. En cualquier caso, especifique a qué aplicaciones de Synology debe tener acceso el nuevo usuario y establezca límites de velocidad para la transmisión de datos si es necesario. Finalmente haga clic en "Aplicar".
- Ahora debe crear recursos compartidos en los que luego pueda guardar sus archivos. Abra el Panel de control nuevamente y seleccione "Carpeta compartida". Haga clic en "Crear".
- Ingrese el nombre del recurso compartido aquí. Si es necesario, puede ocultar la carpeta en la red; no aparecerá durante un escaneo y debe saber el nombre exacto al conectarse. También puedes activar la papelera. Las otras configuraciones ya no necesitan ser cambiadas. Finalmente, puede elegir qué usuarios deberían tener acceso a las carpetas compartidas.
