- Ejemplos: Conduces un Golf Six. El vehículo es uno de los modelos más conducidos en Alemania. La participación de este modelo en accidentes es correspondientemente alta. Por lo tanto, el Golf six se clasifica en una clase de tipo superior. Un Honda Jazz, sin embargo, es un modelo de vehículo más raro en Alemania. Por lo tanto, es necesario regular menos daños. - La clase de tipo también depende del tipo de seguro. En el seguro de responsabilidad civil existen las clases de tipo de diez a 25, el seguro integral parcial se refiere a las clases de tipo de diez a 33.
